I don't know if you guys noticed, but whenever you now upload a pin created with AI on Pinterest, Pinterest ads an 'modified with AI lable'.
Not however when you pull it through Canva first, then there's no label:
Just something I wanted to let you know. I'm not sure yet if this will have any consequences on your views or outbound clicks, so far it doesn't look like it has, like more on the contrary. But you really do need images that really look real.
Watching Nic's video on Pinterest accounts getting (shadow)banned (
), ( I know, he's sometimes hard to understand lol) , it could happen that too many people get angry that someone is using AI for their niche, and so they report pins.
Ugh, I really think that in my niche people get upset about AI images. So although I don't seem to have a shadowban, luckily, I am being VERY careful in using AI images, only ones that look very real. Just to avoid this reporting stuff. So far so good. I had been going down in the last months, but it looks a normal volatility, and I had to create better pins overall, got too lazy I think. But it's slowly getting back up!
And one of his other tips was to delete underperforming pins, lots of people see a traffic rise if they do that. Just like in the old days of SEO - remove if not performing! - lol
Just my 2 cents and what I've been up to

Understood! I just graduated from college yesterday and ready to put to use all this knowledge that i have gathered and learn throughout the years. I was looking at Pinterest today (now yesterday as im typing this at 3am) for ideas about what my next topic will be. Im leaning in the dictionary area. It has plenty of definitions i can use as quotes then link that to my online store that has products with those quotes or dictionary definitions on them." Ive seen this done many times. The only caveat is that you will have to connect it to real world events, problems or success.
Thanks Lizzy!
